Jennifer Burgess

My academic background includes a BA in English Literature from the University of Calgary and an MA in English Literature and Culture from the University of Sussex.

As an editor I have worked with documents in the fields of academia, engineering, the oil and gas industry, book publishing, the arts and social media. I have taken on everything from substantial reports with corporate clients to newsletter writing for small, local not-for-profits.

My specialties include technical writing, newsletter editing, proposals, nonsexist language and website content management.

Currently I am the Website Manager for the Calgary Association of Freelance Editors and sit on the Council as Lead Newsletter Editor for the Society for Technical Communication.
